A renowned Islamic Scholar, Fadilat Sheikh Hammed Olanrewaju Alfullanny, has accused the members of All Progressives Congress (APC), Isolo Local Council Development Area of being dishonest, the bane of the lingering calamity in the party at the local council area.

The clergy man disclosed that the crisis in the party was as a result of enmity being created by the leadership of the party among the members.

According to him, the party would have collapsed in Isolo if not for its strength at the national and state levels and other local government areas within Lagos state.

Speaking at the Ramadan lecture organized by Isolo Youth Progressive Team in honour of the immediate past Lagos State APC Chairman, Otunba Henry Oladele Ajomole, the scholar noted that Isolo remained one of the local councils where the party is most faces with calamities.

He emphasized that the reason was lack of trust and tolerance among the politicians in the community.

He said that instead of them to rally round and support any member that emerged as the leader, they resulted to enmity, backbiting and face-off among one another.

According to him, despite the fact the the local council produces mighty and strong people, it is prone to avoidable crisis.

Making reference bro Qur’an and Hadith, Alfullanny, said Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had long ago prophesized what was happening to the politicians in Isolo when he said that towards the end of the world, there would no loyalty, trust, honesty and tolerance among the leaders on one hand, and between the leaders and the followers on the other hand.

He therefore warned them to thread the part of Almighty Allah in their dealings.

He also advised them to change their attitudes for advancement of their community and the party.
