Sanwo-Olu Describes Commissioned New Nursing Hostel As Healthcare Investment

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has described the commissioned new hostel facilities at the Lagos State College of Nursing in Igando as a key investment in the future of healthcare in the state.

The governor said the development provides student nurses with a safe and modern living environment that supports their training.

“Providing a safe and modern living environment for our student nurses is an investment in the future of healthcare across Lagos. When our training healthcare professionals have the right space to live, study and thrive, the entire community benefits,” Sanwo-Olu stated.

He added that the facilities form part of broader efforts to improve conditions for those preparing to serve in the health sector.

“Providing our student nurses with a safe and modern environment to live and study is an investment in the future of healthcare in Lagos.”

Sanwo-Olu emphasised the administration’s focus on tangible projects.

“We are staying focused on delivering practical improvements that touch real lives. Every new facility brings us one step closer to the strong, reliable Lagos we are building together.

The new hostels are intended to create better living and study conditions for nursing students at the Igando institution.
