Deaconess Angel Oyakhilome, mother of the founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has died.

She was reportedly 88 years old.

Church Gist announced her death in a post on X, paying tribute to the late matriarch and her contributions to the ministry.

Deaconess Oyakhilome was the mother of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, popularly known as Christ Embassy, as well as Rev. Ken Oyakhilome and Kathy Woghiren.

She was a familiar figure within the ministry and was recognised for her support and contributions to the growth of LoveWorld Nation over the years.

In 2022, LoveWorld News reported that she received a special commendation during the ministry’s Presidential Awards for her “immense contributions” to the expansion of LoveWorld Nation.

As of the time of filing this report, Christ Embassy had not issued a formal statement on its official website confirming her death.

Details of her death and funeral arrangements were also yet to be announced.
