In addition, he encouraged each beneficiary to use the funds prudently and refrain from needless acquisitions.

Echonews reports that the Chairman has previously started a number of empowerment projects, giving 210 citizens 21 million naira, POS machines to 50 young people who became entrepreneurs, and 100,000 naira as startup capital for their businesses, among other things.

The head of the Council received a vote of confidence from Chief Mrs. Victoria Okosi, the National President of Concerned Mothers in Nigeria, a non-governmental organisation, for his accomplishments in the community thus far. She also stated that he is a leader to be emulated.

All the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the kind gesture bestowed on them and prayed that the Council boss will continue to excel in all his endeavours.
