Jumoke Odetola Announces New Calling as Minister of God

Nollywood actress Jumoke Odetola has announced that she has embraced a new calling as a minister of God, saying she is entering a new season of her life.
Odetola made the announcement on Saturday while responding to questions from fans about her absence from the screen.
In a post shared on Instagram, the actress disclosed that she had been compelled by what she described as God’s call to dedicate herself to His work.
She also appealed to her fans and the public to remember her in their prayers as she begins the new chapter.
“I’m now a minister of God. I am entering a new season with God. I need all the prayers in this season,” Odetola said.
She added, “When God compels you, you may delay, but you cannot escape the call.”
The actress did not disclose whether her new calling would mean a permanent withdrawal from acting or how it would affect her future projects.
Odetola is known for her roles in Yoruba and English-language Nollywood productions and has built a career spanning film and television.
