It was all pomp and ceremony in Ejigbo today as the Ojon of Ejigbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Moroof Adekunle Adisa Ojoola celebrated his 20th anniversary on throne.
The ceremony was at its peak when the Fuji crooner, King Wasiu Ayinde Marsha treated the guests to fuji music around 4:00pm.
At the ceremony, some important personnel and Ejigbo indigenous people were conferred with chieftaincy titles such as the Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Chief Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo who was conferred with the new title of Erelu of Ejigbo and Ijan land.
Equally conferred with similar title was one of the sons of the soil, Adebanji Adetayo Oguba popularly called D’Banj, who bagged the title of Aare Bobakeye of Ejigbo and Ijan Kindom, and a host of others who also bagged various chieftaincy titles.
Speaking at the ceremony, the royal father declared that his reign over the past 201 years has brought tremendous progress and development to Ejigbo in terms of socio-economic and political activities.
