Lagos children defy heavy downpour to mark this year’s Children’s Day in style.

Our correspondent who monitored the activities observed that a selected few of the Lagos public school pupils still showed up for parade at Police College Ikeja.

The rains, which began about 7:30am disrupted the day activities but as it subsided about one hour after, the pupils were seeing moving out in batches.

The activities, which began last Sunday with thanksgiving at the Church of Christ Se Light Alausa are to be concluded today with rally.
