The Chief Whip of the Legislative Arm of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Grace Nwankwo-Okere has empowered 100 beneficiaries in Ifoshi Ward which she represents.
The empowerment was made available to youths both within and outside ward which increased the number of beneficiaries tremendously.
The empowerment which lasted two weeks was in conjunction with Blessed Gum-Pat Foundation.
Activities like Gele and Makeup, Liquid soap, and Fascinator among other entrepreneurial skills, were taught at the programme.
Nwankwo-Okere noted that as a business tycoon, a thrive to empower more youths has been an area of focus that she had always concentrated on.
She urged the beneficiaries to live up to the expectations of the council chairman, Hon. Monsurudeen Bello (Obe) as he continues to encourage employment opportunities in the council.
She promised to continue to contribute towards the development of her ward and Ejigbo in general while donating free clothing materials for all graduating students at the training.
