Thousands of worshippers, ministers, dignitaries and partners from around the world converged on the headquarters of Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos on Friday to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the passing of T.B. Joshua.

The event, themed “Rejoicing With the Saints,” was broadcast live on Emmanuel TV and attracted participants from diverse nations, cultures and backgrounds who gathered to celebrate the life, ministry and humanitarian legacy of the late cleric.

The programme, hosted by Femi Branch and Seraphine Dogbe, featured worship sessions, musical ministrations, tributes and personal testimonies reflecting on the enduring impact of Prophet T.B. Joshua across the globe.

Renowned gospel artistes ministered during the celebration, including Byron Cage, Christina Shusho, Kings Mumbi Malembe and Brian Courtney Wilson, who led worshippers in sessions of praise, thanksgiving and worship.

A major highlight of the event was the Conversation Corner, hosted by Vimbai Mutinhiri, where guests from different countries shared personal encounters with the late prophet and recounted how his ministry, prayers and humanitarian interventions transformed lives and communities.

Among those who paid tribute were King Willard Mswati Gormani of Malawi, Colonel Wilson from Colombia, Pastor Acosta from Argentina and Lieutenant Colonel Melo from the Dominican Republic. Their testimonies reflected the far-reaching influence of T.B. Joshua’s ministry and the impact he made on individuals across continents.

An emotional atmosphere filled the auditorium during the screening of a documentary chronicling the life and journey of the late prophet. The visual presentation traced his rise from humble beginnings to becoming one of the most recognised Christian leaders in the world, highlighting his devotion to God, commitment to humanitarian service and passion for transforming lives.

The event also showcased the activities of the T.B. Joshua Foundation, which continues to extend humanitarian support to vulnerable communities through initiatives such as the Five Thousand Lives Initiative and The Horizon Project.

Participants further reflected on the character and virtues of the late cleric, describing him as a man of humility, faith, compassion, generosity, wisdom and unwavering dedication to God’s work.

Five years after his passing, worshippers said the celebration served as a reminder that T.B. Joshua’s legacy remains alive through the lives he touched, the humanitarian projects he inspired and the global community that continues to uphold his vision of faith and service to humanity.
