U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier: Muinat Rotimi Confident Of Flamingos Victory Against Algeria

Nigeria U17 midfielder, Muinat Rotimi isn’t perturbed about the dangers posed by the Algeria U17 team ahead of their crucial FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier first leg tie at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

The midfield maestro is certain the Flamingos will come out victorious against Algeria.

Rotimi calls out Nigerians to come out in their numbers to support the Flamingos as she promised the team will make them proud in Ikenne.

“We are expecting Nigerians to come out in their numbers to support us and we will make them proud on our home ground,” she said.

The Nakamura FA playmaker added the Nigeria U17 team are in their prime and are well inspired to get the desired result on home soil.

“We are going to win the game against Algeria and we will give our best. I’m very prepared and ready to give out all my best.”

The Flamingos dismantled South Africa 5-1 on aggregate in their previous round before setting up a tie with Algeria which is the final round of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The second leg will come up on Friday, April 25 at the 25,000 capacity Mustapha Tchaker Stadium, Blida, Algeria which came into existence in 2001.
