Shammeh charges CPS to set up foundation to support deceased member’s family

The Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye (Shammeh) has charged the Chief Press Secretaries to Local Government Chairmen in Lagos State. (CPS Conference 57) to set up a foundation in memory of their deceased member, Irikefe who lost his life during the electioneering campaign almost a year ago to support his family.
Shammeh said this during a monthly general meeting of the conference held at Isolo council secretariat.
The council boss, who was represented by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Olojede, said with the foundation, the conference would be able to raise funds for the family of the deceased member and that the family would feel the impact of the conference to which their person belonged in his lifetime.
As the chief host of the meeting, the chairman enlightened them as the press secretaries discussed crucial issues ahead of the forthcoming annual retreat of the conference tagged ‘Ibeju 2019″ expected to hold next month.
Meanwhile, the Head of Information Unit, Isolo LCDA, Ms. Foluke Olumide, stressed the need for the CPS to work in harmony with information officers so as to further project the image of the council chairmen and indeed the councils in a positive way.
Olumide , who informed the gathering of the close and cordial relation between her and the Isolo LCDA CPS, Mr. Lanre Olaleye, appealed to others to do same in their respective councils.
