Olasoju Celebrates Predecessor, Shameh @60

The Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Otunva Adebayo Olasoju has felicitated with his immediate predecessor, Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye on the occasion of his 60th birth anniversary.

In a congratulatory message released through his media office, Olasoju shared in Olaleye’s joy as he appreciated God for His kindness over his predecessor’s life.

He noted that attaining the diamond jubilee in Nigeria where life expectancy is barely 56 years could only be possible through God’s grace and benevolence which he said is evident in the life of the celebrator.

Acknowledging Olaleye’s political prowess, Olasoju maintained that the Gbagura/Ijaye, Abeokuta-born democrat has paid his dues diligently both at party and government levels.

“I’m particularly filled with a sense of obligation to share in the joy of my leader and darling brother, Alh. Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye who graciously ascends the 6th floor of existence today. It is not a gainsay that “Shamee” has contributed immensely to the shaping of our political terrain in Oshodi/Isolo LGA, Isolo LCDA and Lagos State on a larger note. More importantly, his records during his two terms as the Chief Executive Officer of our dear LCDA speak volume.”

The council boss prayed to God for His continued mercy and loving-kindness for the Turaki Adeen, Isolo Muslims Community and Otun Bobagunwa of Isolo kingdom as he reaffirmed his goodwill to him.

“May I, through this medium and on behalf of my family and the good people of Isolo LCDA on a broader level congratulate Hon. Olaleye as he inches closer to the senior citizens’ club. May God ease his affairs and keep showering him with his immeasurable love,” Olasoju prayed.
