Pastor Odunlami Akinsola, President of Papa Soccer Angels, has expressed optimism about his team’s chances of achieving a strong finish in the NWFL Championship.

Following a setback in their opening match, Papa Soccer Angels rebounded with a decisive 5-1 victory over Chosen Generation, keeping their promotion aspirations alive.

Akinsola praised his team’s improved performance and highlighted their readiness to compete at the highest level.

He commended the players for their determination and skill, which were instrumental in securing the impressive win.

Akinsola did not rule out the possibility of promotion to the NWFL Premiership, emphasizing his belief in his team’s capabilities.

“We’re thrilled with our performance in the second game,” Akinsola stated.

Papa Soccer Angels will face Delta Babes in their next match on Wednesday, September 4, at St. Patrick College, Calabar.
