Nollywood Actor Owolabi Ajasa Debunks Viral Death Rumours
Veteran Nollywood actor Owolabi Ajasa, popularly known for his police roles and the catchphrase “Ta lo pa Chief,” has dismissed viral reports claiming he is dead.
The actor reacted after an obituary poster announcing his alleged death circulated widely on social media.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Ajasa assured fans that he is alive and in good health.
“I’m still much alive in good health,” he said.
The actor also criticised individuals and platforms responsible for spreading what he described as false information about him and other entertainers.
“To everyone posting my obituary around, I’m saying back to the sender, to you and your family,” he said.
Addressing his supporters in Nigeria and abroad, Ajasa reaffirmed that there was nothing wrong with his health.
“Good day everyone, my name still remains Owolabi Ajasa, your Nollywood police officer. I want to tell all my fans both in Nigeria and abroad that I’m still much alive. I’m alive, hale and hearty. There’s nothing wrong with me,” he added.
The actor’s clarification comes after the fake obituary sparked concern among fans and colleagues across social media.
