How Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat got second term

A unanimous affirmation to a motion proposing a second term for Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat marked the climax of the State All Progressives Congress stakeholders meeting with presidential aspirant Asiwaju Bola Tinubu this evening.

Moving the motion, former Commissioner for Commerce & Industry, Mrs.Olayinka Oladunjoye praised Governor Sanwo,-olu for his sterling performance and proposed a second term.

Hon. Kehinde Joseph, representing the Alimosho constituency I seconded the motion.

In a dramatic move, the Speaker of the House of Assembly stepped forward from the second row on the stage and demanded Ayes or Nays.

As the stakeholders chorused Ayes, the Speaker brought his hand onto the lectern to confirm that the motion was carried.

Afterwards, APC foremost presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Tinubu shook hands with the Governor and the meeting ended.
