GlobalPay Limited, a Nigerian fintech and payment solutions company, is recruiting qualified professionals for five positions in Lagos as it continues to expand its payment and financial technology operations.

The available vacancies are Business Development Manager, Settlement and Chargeback Specialist, Customer Service Representative, Compliance Officer, and Accountant.

Available Positions

1. Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Experience: 5–8 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.

The successful candidate will drive business growth across GlobalPay and Terraswitch by identifying new opportunities, acquiring merchants and partners, developing strategic accounts and building relationships with banks, fintechs, payment service providers and corporate clients.

Responsibilities include developing sales and partnership strategies, preparing commercial proposals, monitoring market trends and reporting on revenue targets and partnership performance. Experience in fintech, banking or payments is preferred.

2. Settlement and Chargeback Specialist

Location: Lagos
Experience: 2–5 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.

The role involves processing and reconciling settlement files involving GlobalPay/Terraswitch, banks and card schemes such as Visa, Mastercard and Verve.

The specialist will also investigate settlement discrepancies, manage chargebacks and disputes from receipt through resolution, liaise with banks and card schemes, monitor fraud and chargeback trends, and maintain settlement and dispute records.

Applicants should have experience in settlement, reconciliation or chargeback/dispute management, preferably within a bank, switch or fintech. Knowledge of card-scheme dispute rules is an advantage.

3. Customer Service Representative

Location: Lagos
Experience: 1–3 years
Qualification: OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

The Customer Service Representative will handle customer and merchant enquiries through phone, email, live chat and social media, while helping to resolve failed payments, transaction disputes and account-related issues.

Other responsibilities include maintaining customer records, supporting merchant onboarding, handling KYC-related enquiries and escalating technical or compliance issues where necessary.

Applicants should have strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience in banking, fintech, telecommunications or a call-centre environment is an advantage.

4. Compliance Officer

Location: Lagos
Experience: 4–7 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or a related field.

The Compliance Officer will support GlobalPay’s regulatory and risk-compliance activities, including monitoring compliance with applicable CBN regulations and AML/CFT/CPF requirements.

Duties include conducting compliance audits and risk assessments, reviewing KYC/KYB and sanctions-screening processes, supporting regulatory reporting and working with Legal, Risk and Operations teams on compliance matters.

Professional certifications such as ACAMS, CIFC or equivalent are listed as an advantage. Candidates should have sound knowledge of Nigeria’s payment and financial-services regulatory environment.

5. Accountant

Location: Lagos
Experience: 3–5 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Professional certification is an advantage.

The Accountant will support GlobalPay’s financial operations, reporting and reconciliation activities.

Key duties include maintaining financial records and ledgers, performing bank and settlement-account reconciliations, preparing management accounts, supporting tax filings, monitoring cash flow and assisting with internal and external audits.

Applicants should have experience in accounting, preferably within banking, fintech or payments. ICAN or ACCA certification, or being in view, is an advantage, while knowledge of Nigerian tax requirements and financial regulations is required.
