Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu PHC Bags Neatest Awarded

The Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu led administration of Somolu Local Government has received accolade as Lagos State Government honoured Somolu Local Government’s Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Primary Healthcare Center as the neatest PHC in Lagos State.

The awards event was organized by Dr. Tunji Bello (Commissioner) led Lagos State Ministry of Environments and Water Resources to honour local governments and Primary Healthcare Center facilities as part of the effort of Lagos State Government to ensure Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Health and Environment are well pronounced in the T.H.E.M.E.S. project.

The award was received by representatives of the Council Chairman, including Hon. Ayo Hector Coker (Supervisor for Agric, youth and Community Services),  Dr. Abidemi Agboola (Medical Officer of Heath, Somolu LG), Owolabi ‘Ajimomuya’ Oseni (Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman), Mr. Olusegun Elliot (Ward Health Committee Chairman) and Mrs. Omolola Sodiq (Officer-in-Charge of the PHC) at magnificent Adeyemi Bero Auditorium in Alausa, Ikeja.

Recall that the Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Primary Healthcare Center was constructed and commissioned by the Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu led administration of Somolu Local Government after the dilapidated PHC was engulfed by year long flood which was earlier tamed by Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu’s administration.
