Councillor, Engineer Dialogue With Community Leaders Over Road Rehabilitation

Councillor representing Ward C2 in Ifako-Ijaiye, who doubles as chairman, House Committee on Works, Housing, Infrastructure and Business Rules, Hon. Ibrahim Adenekan has met with Community Leaders of Mojisola Street in respect to the commencement of renovation of the road.

Adenekan invited the Engineer in charge of the project, Engr. Kayode Awoshile and his team to  dialogue with the community leaders ahead of the work.

The Engineer in charge of the project from Public Works & Infrastructure Lagos State, Engr. Awoshile disclosed that the construction and laying of asphalt on the street will commence any moment soon.

He noted that the 900metres street will be marked with center lines to differentiate ongoing, incoming vehicles lane.

He explained other necessary things that need be known for the road construction and he requested for corporation from the community.

Adenekan appealed to residents for maximum support to the contractor all through their stay.    

He appreciated every community leader and stakeholder from the local government for their support at all times with the zeal to bring an unprecedented development to the good people of the community.

He also inspected Ajenifuja Street alongside with the department of Environment from the Local Government to complete the carting away of refuse from the drainage.
