The management of Auntie Olu Nursery and Primary School, Ire-Akari Estate, Isolo has explained that it has to expose the pupils of the school to the various cultures of the major tribes in Nigeria in order to inculcate in them unity, love and respect for other people’s cultures at their tender age.

During the 2020 Cultural Day organised by the school over the weekend, the pupils were ceremoniously exposed to the cultural heritages of the three major tribes as they were educated about the norms and customs peculiar to Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba tribes, especially how to make indigenous dishes as well as entertainment with indigenous dance presentations.

Speaking, the Headmistress (Academics), Mrs. Phenomena Okeafor, said: “In addition to our core value of academic excellence and moral uprightness, we understand the need to expose the pupils to our indigenous cultures and teach them all they need to know.
