The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has charged the new General Manager (GM) of Lagos State Planning and Environmental Monitoring Authority (LASPEMA), TPL Daisi Osho, to set high standard for the agency.

Sanwo-Olu, who said this at a welcome ceremony of the new manager into the office on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at LASPEMA’ office in Ikeja, said he is expecting excellent outcome from the LASPEMA officials.

The Lagos State Governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Fatai Akinderu, implored all to be patient with the newly appointed GM to accomplish the responsibility given to him.

According to him, LASPEMA is a sleeping giant which the GM is expected to wake, noting that a lot of efforts is demanded to accomplish the assignment.

Also speaking, Pastor A.T Williams admonished the new LASPEMA boss and other officials to work together to set a measurable metrics that will reveal their efficiency for everyone to see.

Such standards, according to him, include clarify strategy, aligned goals, execution of goals and performance standard, urging them to operate in love.

To officially welcome Osho into his new office, LASPEMA GM , the LASPEMA PRO , Mrs. Judith Agu presented him with big appointment play card with the believe that he would take LASPEMA to the promised Land.

Responding, Osho,who is an immediate past Vice Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo LG  appreciated the state governor for the opportunity given to him to serve as the general manager of LASPEMA, promising to reposition the agency for better.

His wife, Mrs Adenike Osho, also promised to give her husband the needed support to ensure that he accomplish the task.

The key officers in LASPEMA, Engr. Alani Lawal; Assistant Director, Mr. Muyiwa Fashina; Accountant, Mr. Kehinde Ashiru; Learning and Development Unit Personnel, Mrs. Funke Okolie; Auditor, Mrs. Titilayo Akintunde; Budget, Mrs. Ayoola and Procurement, Mrs. Sakirat Alade, all pledged their loyalty and commitment to drive Lagos to become a smart city as they welcomed their new boss.
