sexual abuse victim seeks police intervention for justice

The intervention of Akinpelu Police Station, Oshodi has been solicited to bring perpetrator to justice on defilement case of a landlord who forcefully had sex with his tenant’s cousin.
According to the report, the landlord of No, 17 Afariogun Street, Oshodi who is simply identified as Mr. Niyi was reported to often peep at his tenant’s cousin whenever she was taking her bath.
It was also reported that at times the accused would appear unannounced in their apartment especially when he noticed that the victim’s aunty was not around.
On that fateful day, when victim’s aunty had gone out, the landlord sneaked into their apartment and defiled the lady forcefully.
Subsequently, the victim’s aunty reported the case to Child Protection Network (CPN), Oshodi Coordinator, Mr. Ebenezer Omejalile, who advised that the case be reported formally at Akinpelu Police Station, Oshodi.
While investigation continues, the agency has beckoned to the police to see that justice prevails.
