Ojodu LCDA Launches Flood Prevention Initiative

The administration of Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku in Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has launched a series of initiatives aimed at mitigating flooding and improving environmental management within the Agidingbi community in Ward E.
Desilting and drainage restructuring exercises are currently underway at Abiodun Sobajo Street, Adeleye Street, and Tade Street in Agidingbi, reflecting the government’s commitment to creating a cleaner and flood-free environment for local residents.
During an inspection of the exercise, the Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Abdulsalam Olawale, disclosed that the project would extend from Abiodun Sobajo beside Agidingbi Secondary School through Tade Street and Lateef Jakande Road by Addax Mall, then terminate at the Agidingbi Technical College.
He emphasized the commitment of the Odunmbaku-led administration to sustainable environmental practices and continuous infrastructural upgrades to enhance the quality of life for residents of Ojodu LCDA.
