The Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Monsurudeen Bello (Obe), is upgrading Kila/Omiyale roads to ease pedestrian and vehicular movement.

The Chairman, Kila Area Community Development Area (CDA), Mr. Taiwo Owolabi, said the palliative has made the roads more passable as the potholes which have been the major challenge on the road have been filled.

He explained that though it is a state government road, the local chairman, out of his passion for the development of his community, has taken it up for repair in order to make it passable for the residents.

“The roads are not actually in the jurisdiction of the local government, it is a state government road but the chairman has just moved to ensure the potholes are blocked at least to ease movement on the road. This is laudable and we appreciate him for this and many others he has been doing.”

It was gathered that sand from a road construction at NNPC area of Ejigbo was brought to fill the roads as directed by the chairman.
