Obe Cup: Semi-final stage heats up

The semi-final stage of the Obe Cup have seen coaches of the wards teams in high preparation as they aim to be through to the final of the maiden edition of Obe Cup in Ejigbo.

Some of the coaches while interacting with ECHONEWS, noted how highly focused that their teams are as they will not leave any stone unturned in their quest for their team to win the competition.

In the U17 category, Ifoshi ward will face Ailegun ward by 12pm, Oke-afa will face Aigbaka ward by 1:30pm, the matches will be played on Thursday at Ejigbo mini stadium.

The free age category will see, Ifoshi ward trading tackles with Ilamoshe ward by 3pm and Oke-afa ward in a crunch tie with Aigbaka ward by 4:30pm.

Only Fadu ward have had their representatives (Senior and Junior team) knocked out in the ongoing Obe Cup in Ejigbo.

Oke-afa and Ifoshi ward remains the two wards that their senior and Junior team are in the semi-final of the competition.
