Obasa Cup: Winner To Take N1 Million

The overall winner of the Obasa Cup 2023 will go away with N1 million and other gift items.

This was made known by the Chairman of Kings Sports International, Mr. Abdulganiyu Junaid who is set to hold the maiden edition of the tournament.

Junaid made all these known While addressing journalists during the Press conference held at the Constituency Office of Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly.

Junaid said the competition would avail players the opportunity to be discovered by foreign talent scouts.

According to the Organisers, the football tournament is aimed at creating opportunities for young local football players in Agege and also honoring the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa for his contributions towards youth development in Agege and Lagos state at large.

The Football Competition is also an initiative aimed at Promoting Peace, Unity, and togetherness and to also foster closer relationships amongst our youths.

“The football competition will commence on Monday 6th, 2023 in Agege, at Okunsanya Primary School TabonTabon where different football teams are expected to participate in the competition.”

“This is a Local event that will give the players the exposure and an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents on the field of play.
