Bet9ja Foundation Football Competition set to kickoff in Lagos

The maiden edition of the Bet9ja Foundation Football Competition is set to kickoff in Ejigbo, Lagos.

Tuesday, November Seven has been fixed for the kickoff of the competition geared towards exposing the young lads in the grassroots.

Speaking to ECHONEWS, the organizer of the championship and Super Agent of Bet9ja in Isolo (0292), Okechukwu Ejimah said the purpose of the tournament is to provide a platform for youngsters to be exposed.

Ejimah popularly known as Okey, added that, FIFA licensed scouts will be around to monitor and single out the fantastic players of the tournament who will be sponsored for trials in Europe.

He revealed that, a link have been established with Jude Ighalo football club in Lagos so that some players career can go through further enlightenment at the club.

A total of 16 teams will participate in the inaugural edition of the tournament with over 300 players that will be on parade.
