NASFAT awards Ariyoh for religious excellent contribution

The Nusrul Lahi-L Fatihi Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), Oshodi branch has presented award of excellence to the Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh, in recognition of his contribution towards the growth of lslam as the society celebrated its 15 years of existence.

The Islamic group disclosed that this would be its first time of giving awards to distinguished Muslims in the community since its existence 15 years ago, stating that the awards were based on merit and to encourage all awardees to increase their good deeds in Islam and community at large.

In his lecture, the NASFAT Chairman, Bro Makanjuola Ogbondeminu Abdullateef admonished the awardees to see the awards as a urge to continue in their good deeds.

Quoting from the Holy Quran, Abdullateef stated, “Allah says we shall reward them according to the best of their deeds that Allah may give them the best reward.”

He further eulogized the contributions of the local government boss towards the development of NASFAT society.

He however advised Muslim public office holders to follow the footstep of the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in the discharge of their duties as Allah would ask for account of what has been given.

He also reminded all the Muslim brothers and sisters at the occasion to learn to tolerate one another and live harmoniously as Islamic religion is of peace.

The medium was also used to encourage Muslims to get involved in politics and also ensure that they obtain their permanent voter’s card (PVC) so as to participate in election process.

At the occasion, Ariyoh was represented by three of his cabinet members, ncludng his Special Adviser on Environment, Hon. Yusuf Adesanya,  the Supervisory Councilor for Education, Hon.Ganiu Mejidade and the Councilor representing Afariogun ward, Hon. Razak M.O.
