Mornach seeks more investors to boost employment chances in Isolo

Business activities in Isolo would be boosted with the involvement of more investors in the area as it is a positive plan in the reduction of unemployment, the Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka has siad.

The Traditional ruler made the call on the heel of youth unemployment rate in the community, which he said has become worrisome over the years.

Oba Agbabiaka called on local and foreign investors to establish businesses in the area in order to curtail the unwanted situation thereby improving the economy in the area.

“A good percentage of our youths are jobless. This is a concern to me because when youths do not have means of livelihood, they can go stealing and committing all manner of atrocities. Most of these youths have graduated six to 10 years ago and are still jobless,” he lamented.

He said that some of the youths had engaged in social vices that had become a problem for the community, noting that the unscrupulous acts were indulged in by the youths because of idleness.

The monarch said that should business owners heed his call, there would be provision for conducive and enabling environment to carry out their activities. He also noted that there are investment opportunities in Isolo in the areas of tourism, agriculture, health care, entertainment and commerce, among others.
