Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has fuelled fresh speculation about the state of her marriage after removing her husband Olakunle Churchill’s name from her social media bio.

The development comes months after the couple’s relationship became the subject of public attention following Churchill’s reunion with his ex-wife, actress Tonto Dikeh.

The controversy began in January 2026 when Churchill joined Tonto to celebrate their son’s 10th birthday. During the event, the actress publicly appreciated Churchill for his support and commitment as a father.

“I love you with the love of God,” Tonto said as she prayed for him.

Their cordial interaction generated mixed reactions on social media. While some praised the pair for putting their son first, others criticised the public display and revisited allegations that Rosy Meurer had been close to Tonto before marrying Churchill.

Responding to the claims, Meurer dismissed the allegations in a lengthy Instagram post, insisting she never knew Tonto Dikeh before the actress’s marriage to Churchill ended.

As speculation over Churchill’s renewed closeness with his ex-wife intensified, Rosy later announced that she and Churchill had separated.

Churchill, however, downplayed the announcement, stating in a series of Instagram posts that their relationship had no legal binding requiring a divorce.

The latest development, with Meurer removing Churchill’s surname from her social media profile, has reignited speculation about whether the couple has permanently gone their separate ways.

Neither Rosy Meurer nor Olakunle Churchill has officially commented on the recent profile update.
