Man nabbed for assault on sex worker

25 year old Oki Olabisi has been remanded in prison following his assault on a sex worker for ‘opening up” during an agreed sexual encounter between them.
The suspect, at Formula Four Hotel, Coker Street, Ejigbo negotiated with the victim, Tina John for a sex romp for an undisclosed fee.
Reports gathered that Tina failed to fully cooperate with Olabisi, who disclosed that Tina started behaving strangely which got him infuriated and eventually beat her.
While narrating the incident to the police at Ejigbo Division where he was prosecuted, Olabisi admitted putting assault on the victim.
He said, “I paid her to have a good time and she agreed. On getting to the room, she started behaving strangely by not opening up for penetration. I told her to cooperate but she didn’t listen. I was angry and didn’t know when I started to beat her.”
While beating his victim, Olabisi said he knocked off one of her teeth which resulted into bleeding in her mouth.
The police found Olabisi culpable and charged him before the Ejigbo Magistrates court for assault, grievous harm and conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.
He pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor, did not oppose his being granted bail but asked the court for adjournment for trial.
The Presiding Magistrate, Teslimi Shomade, granted Olabisi bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he would be able to perfect his bail.
The matter was adjourned till 17th September, 2018.
