Kosofe Council Boss Begins Sinking of 20 Boreholes

Following the goals of SDG 6 to provide clean water and sanitation to all, Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Mr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, has initiated a project to construct 20 boreholes throughout the LGA.

The first phase will include the installation of 10 boreholes within his Local Government.

The specific locations of the first 10 boreholes include Olayiwola Owoiya / Ikuomola CL Junction Oworonsoki Ward A Miyaki Street/ Odugbemi Str Opposite Idera Mosque

In Ward B Ayodele Okeowo Rd / Kristabel Junction, Ifako

In Ward C Diya Street by Ifako R/about , Ifako. (Ward C); Olorunlogbon Street , Anthony, in Ward DAminu Street, Mende

In Ward E Adeshiyan str / Biola Fadayomi Junction behind Total filling station, Ojota (Ward F); Gbadebo Str, Ojota (Ward F); Adebare Street , Ogudu (Ward G) and Eyiaro Street , Ogudu (Ward G).

This is a welcome change for the residents of Kosofe, who have struggled with water scarcity for a long time. The installation of boreholes will bring essential relief and enhance the general quality of life for the people.
