I’m committed to being a great player – Waliat Bello

Freekick specialist and highly talented playmaker, Waliat Bello said she is committed to being a great player and heaps praises on her coach Rotimi Diego for nurturing her to become a World class player, Waliat Bello who has dribbling skills, long range passes ability and long range shooting accuracy says her mentor is Rasheedat Ajibade.

Waliat Bello appreciated Nakamura FA for always providing her needs and hopes she becomes famous and wealthy with football and thereby give back to the society.

“I started playing football at a young age during my primary school days and I was always playing with the boys, so people use to commend me that I am a very good player, then I was brought down to my present club (Nakamura FA) by a man who likes the way I play and since then, I have enjoyed every bit of football at Nakamura FA and kudos to my coach, Rotimi Diego for making me a better player.

“Nakamura FA is one of the best team for me because they provide everything we need from clothing to shelter and they make us comfortable for us to focus on our career and I pray, I get to be called up to the national team soon.

Waliat Bello also talked about how she was convert to a midfielder, which gave her room to explore and enjoyed the game more.

“When I was converted to a midfielder from a winger, it wasn’t a difficult one to me but I later preferred it to my former role as a winger because I have more freedom to dazzle, dribble, play long passes and shoot from long distance. Though I know how to play freekick but my Coach, Rotimi Diego taught me more on freekick taking accuracy and how to locate the best angle to put the ball at the back of the net.

“Rasheedat Ajibade remains my favorite player because of how she holds on to the ball and dribbles past her opponent with ease and Manchester City is my dream club to play for because of their mesmerizing playing pattern.

“My aim in football is for me to be famous and be wealthy, I want to make my parents rich and empower the less privilege in the society.”
