The chairman of Ikorodu LG, Wasiu Adesina has set the stage for what he envisions as a year of unparalleled growth in 2024.

Emphasizing the pivotal role of community involvement, Adesina outlined key initiatives aimed at fostering development and prosperity within the region.

Addressing the media, the chairman placed a spotlight on plans to fortify infrastructure, declaring, “Our commitment to improving roads, healthcare, and education will be unwavering this year, which is also embedded in the creation of a central park at Ikorodu garage as stated during our 2024 budget presentation.”

He also shed light on the administration’s ambition to construct a legislative edifice for the council, signaling a comprehensive approach to governance.

Highlighting the importance of citizens’ active participation, Adesina urged the community to engage in local programs, stating, “We believe in the strength of unity, and together, we can achieve remarkable milestones. Your input is crucial to the success of our collective endeavors.”

Underlining the commitment to transparency, the Chairman pledged to keep residents well-informed about ongoing projects and financial allocations.

 “Accountability is paramount. We will maintain an open line of communication, ensuring that every resident is aware of the progress and decisions made for the benefit of our community,” Adesina affirmed.
