In furtherance of good governance and outstanding infrastructural development in Lagos, a political interest group, Ambode Continuity Initiative (ACI) has organized a one hundred thousand man solidarity and mobilization walk to endorse Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for second term.
The group walked round the major roads and streets in Oshodi-Isolo constituency to educate the residents on the need to have their permanent voters cards (PVC) so as to be able to perform their civic rights.
In his address, the coordinator of the walk, Mr. Taiwo Ayedun, noted that having watched closely the impressive performance of the governor, it deemed it fit to honour him with a second term.
Ayedun, who is Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Civic Engagement, commended the All Progressive leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for giving Lagos such a great gift in the person of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, noting that his impact is felt in all nooks and crannies of the state by all and sundry.
He, however, urged members to keep their permanent voters cards to actualize the vision of a second term for Ambode.
He also advised those who have not procured their PVC to do so in the spirit of continuity and good governance.
Ayedun commended the governor for the pace of infrastructural development in the area particularly the networks of roads which is gradually opening up the community for economic development.
