FEFAP President congratulates Lakeside Queens for promotion to NWFL Championship

The President of Female Football Academies Proprietors (FEFAP), Prince Ganiu Adetunji have congratulated Lakeside Queens of Lagos for promoting to the NWFL Championship the second tier of professional women football in Nigeria.

FEFAP President, Prince Ganiu Adetunji (Gandy) in a release statement to ECHONEWS, congratulated Lakeside Queens for making it to the NWFL Championship and urged them not to relent on their effort and make the elite NWFL Premiership their target.

“I congratulate Lakeside Queens for promoting to the NWFL Championship, it’s not an easy task but they were able to represent FEFAP and WAfA well, Lakeside Queens shouldn’t relent and make sure, they qualify to the NWFL Premiership.

“Congratulations also to other FEFAP/WAfA teams that participated in the competition because they gave a good account of their selves as we hope more Lagos based teams will dominate NWFL Premiership and Championship in years to come.”

Lakeside Queens defeated Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens 1-0 in the final qualifying match and ended up sealing a place in the NWFL Championship.
