Fausat Balogun Memorial Cup: Four Clubs Vie For Final Slots

The second edition of the Fausat Balogun Memorial Cup have reached its critical semifinal stage.

Four clubs will vie for a place in the final of the women’s football tournament.

Papa Soccer Academy will battle Aseyori Queens in the first semifinal by 3pm on Monday, March 18 while the second semifinal comes same day between Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens and Future Stars 99 by 5pm.

To reach the semifinal, Future Stars 99 went past Ijamido Queens 2-0. Both sides reached the quarter final stage as the two best losers in the first round.

Aseyori Queens defeated known opponent Phoenix Queens 3-1, while Papa Soccer Academy crushed Wazbak Queens 3-0 to also book a place in the semifinal.

Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens had an easy pathway to the Semifinal after their quarter final opponent, Heroes Queens failed to show up to honor their match.
