Eshinlokun, Badaru organise free medical outreach for residents

The senator-elect for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Hon. Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun, has collaborated with Hon. (Dr.) Enitan Dolapo Badru, to organise a one-day free medical outreach for the residents of Lagos Island in conjunction with the Lagos Island Local Government.

The event, held at Oba Adeyinka Primary Healthcare Centre, Adeniji Adele road, Lagos Island covered health education and counseling, blood pressure, and sugar level checkup, free eye checkup, HIV screening, and Covid-19 vaccination.

Other areas covered by the outreach are medical consultation, cervical cancer screening, family planning, provision of drugs and other routine immunizations.

Hundreds of residents trooped out to be examined. Most of those that enjoyed the medical outreach only had good words and prayers for the organisers.

They were particularly delighted that Eshinlokun has continued to care for them even after investing so much in improving the healthcare facilities within the council area when he was the council chairman.

The medical team included MOH, Dr. Bello, Drs Olaotan Tajudeen, Mutiu Azeez, and Talabi Adefunke, assisted by nurses and nursing assistants.
