Ejigbo legislative arm passes vote of confidence on Obe

The legislative arm of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) led by Hon. Lanre Akinbowale, the council leader, has passed a vote of confidence on the council chairman, Hon. Monsurudeen Bello (Obe) for the various achievements he has recorded so far within the short period of his tenure as the council chairman.

Having assessed the feats, the councellors with other council staff members unanimously passed the vote on the chairman as they attested to his capability to take the local council to the higher level.

Highlighting the chairman’s achievements so far, the council leader listed road constructions within Ejigbo, provision of ambulance for the healthcare centre, renovation of schools and empowerment scheme for the widows among many others.

He said despite serving as check and balance to the executive arm, the legislative arm found confidence in the executive chairman and has been working in harmony with him for the development of the community.

He therefore declared further support for the chairman, saying he has belief that he (the chairman) would deliver more if given another chance.
