The Community Development Committee (CDC), Ejigbo LCDA plans to renovate the Imakiyo Police Post burnt by the hoodlums during the EndSARS protest last year.
The CDC chairman, Prince Jelili Atiku, said the committee has visited the burnt police post to assess the level of the damage and estimate the cost of rebuilding the station.
He said the committee was also planning to mobilise the members of Dauda Ilo CDA, the host community to the police station, for synergy to rebuild the burnt police post to a modern police station.
The CDC chairman said the committee has taken the pictures and videos of the destroyed places for dissemination at the state level.
He informed that an official letter would be sent to the District Police Officer, Mr. Ogunwale to give more account on the case for a detailed assessment to be made before further action would be taken.
