The legislative arm of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has charged the newly posted 8th Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ago-Okota Police Division, SP Ladi Tarpaya, to be dutiful and work harder to tame the spate of crimes in the community.

Welcoming the DPO, the two councilors representing the community, Remy Shittu who doubled as the council leader and Kanayo Osondu pledge their support for the DPO while handling him hundreds of case files to work with.

According to Shittu, the case files were gift from them which would serve as encouragement for her on her duty.

“More donations are still coming to support the police force. We learnt the new DPO is workaholic and we want her to replicate that in the community and leave no stone unturned,” Shittu said.

According to Shittu, the track records of Tarpaya earned her the warm welcome she received and the donation of the case files.

The DPO was posted to the Ago-Okota on Monday, August 26, 2019 to replace Ejiofor Obiora who barely used five months.
