What To Expect From The 21st Edition Of Lagos Supremacy Cup

Over the years, the Lagos Supremacy Cup has been a major pathway for rising youngsters to earn greener pastures outside the shores of the country.

The 21st edition has been revealed by the organizers to integrate competitiveness and fresh ideas to get the best legs to foreign Leagues in Europe, South America, and the rest of the World.

Only eight clubs will participate in the 21st edition of the Lagos Supremacy Cup, each team is permitted to register their best 16 players which includes 14 outfield players and two goalkeepers. While only the Edo selected team can register 18 players.

The organizers have instructed the clubs to register their best and most talented players to compete in one of the most successful scouting competition in West Africa.

The 21st edition of the esteemed Lagos Supremacy Cup is set to take place from November 9th through 12th at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The four-day grassroots football event will operate from 7am to 2pm each day, showcasing eight teams competing for the championship title under the tournament’s renowned motto of ‘8 Teams! One Supremo! One Trophy.’

The scouting tournament has established itself as one of Nigeria’s most reliable venues for youth football advancement and talent identification over its history.

This year’s edition will maintain its distinctive structure with the slogan ‘No Offside, Operation Mark Your Man,’ a regulation intended to promote offensive play, competitive physicality, and goal-rich matches.
