Ariyoh thanks well-wishers, holds 8th-day Fidau with family

The Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, has appreciated sympathisers and well-wishers for their condolences during the burial of his mother, late Alhaja Shakirat Modupe Ariyoh, who died on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

In his appreciation message titled “My Profound Gratitude and Appreciation”, Ariyoh wrote: “Words failed me to express my profound and undiluted appreciation to you for the love, strength, courage, and hope given me in this most trying moment of my life occasioned by the demise of my precious and rare gem.

“You have not only demonstrated the love and support you have for me and my family for standing by us in a moment like this which I will always treasure with memory to linger for long.

“My special profound gratitude to you my Father, Leader, Mentor, Navigator and Benefactor, Asiwaju of the universe, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of our great Party, All Progressives Congress.

“His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, Governor of Lagos State, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, the State Chairman of APC, Hon. Tunde Balogun, the Conference of Local Chairmen, Lagos State, Hon. Hakeem Shokunle, member, Lagos State House of Assembly, my LGA APC Chairman, Alhaji Olamide Kasali, Oshodi APC Leaders and Elders.

Meanwhile, people were restricted from attending the 8th Day Fidau prayer for the deceased in compliance with the government directive on social gathering as a measure to curb community spread coronavirus.

According to Ariyoh’s media team, the prayer which was held in compliance with the social distancing in Abike Mosque, Ori-Ade had in attendance the family members and few dignitaries who came to utter prayers for the departed soul according to Islam rite.

“Hon. Abolore Adebayo Ariyoh disclosed that the issue of the coronavirus made the family to observe the 8th day Fidau prayer in a low key form in order to comply with preventive measures and other regulations to curb communal spread of COVID-19.

“On behalf of the deceased children, he expressed their gratitude to family, friends and associates for standing by them in the trying period of their mother’s demise.

“He added that the next line of activities in celebration of a life well spent of the Golden mother of Oshodi- Isolo Local Government shall be communicated to all.

“The council boss of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh thanked all for support and love the family have been enjoying from everyone since the departure of their mother which he said would linger forever in their memory ,” it was reported.
