APC candidates unseat PDP reps members in Oshodi-Isolo federal constituencies

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Dr. Bashiru Dawodu and Engr. Ganiyu Johnson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the winner of House of Representatives in Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituencies I and II respectively in the just concluded election.

Dawodu got 11,435 votes to unseat the PDP member, Hon. Mutiu Shadimu with 9,343, who is currently occupying the position while Johnson scored 19,426 to beat his PDP challenger, Hon. Emmanuel Nnodimu who scored 15,872 votes.

Although the election was disrupted in some polling units in Isolo LCDA and the exercise could not take place, it is not yet known whether there would be rerun of the elction in those polling units.
