Iyabo Ojo: My Eyes Are Seeing ‘Crooked Plans’, Ears Hearing ‘Silent Whisperings’

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Iyabo Ojo has raised concerns over what she described as “crooked plans and camouflaged visits” allegedly targeted at her.

Ojo, in a post on her Instagram page, claimed that her detractors were making secret moves aimed at bringing her down, although she did not identify the individuals involved or provide details of the alleged plans.

The actress said she was aware of the developments and would continue to monitor the situation while relying on the rule of law, due process and institutional independence.

“I’m aware my detractors are plotting. I’m solidly on ground! As a law-abiding citizen, we shall keenly observe adherence to the rule of law, compliance with due process and institutional independence,” she wrote.

Ojo further suggested that she was aware of behind-the-scenes activities involving people she described as her detractors.

“Our eyes are seeing the crooked plans and camouflaged visits. Our ears are hearing the silent whisperings. And likewise, our lips won’t cease to speak to the consciousness of the society,” she said.

She assured her fans and supporters that she would continue to speak out, expressing confidence that the truth would eventually prevail.

“My beautiful fans and family, irrespective of how far falsehood may travel, the truth shall catch up with it! The truth shall emerge in earnest,” she added.

The actress did not disclose the identity of the people she referred to as her detractors or explain what prompted the alleged moves against her.
