Ayisat Yusuf Thrilled With Head Coach Appointment In Finland

Nigeria ex international, Ayisat Yusuf is ecstatic following her appointment as the new head coach of Tikkurilan Palloseura (TIPS FC) in charge of the T2014 age group and T2015 in Finland.
Yusuf brings in an attractive wealth of experience which is a combination of her international playing days and also coaching experience at the top to handle the T2014 and T2015 Girls of Tips FC.
She described her move to Tips FC as an honor to serve and lead a group of motivated and supportive coaching crew with the aim of achieving greatness on and off the pitch.
The FIFPRO merit players voice award winner sets her target in inspiring future professional players while looking ahead to make a positive impact at the club.
“I’m delighted to share that I have been appointed as the Head Coach of the T14/T15 Girls Competitive League at Tikkurilan Palloseura (TIPS FC) in Finland,” she said.
“It is a true honor to lead such a talented and motivated group of young players, supported by an excellent coaching team alongside Nea and Marko. Together, we aim to foster growth, teamwork, and excellence both on and off the pitch.
“I look forward to contributing to the continued development of these players and to an inspiring journey ahead with the TIPS FC family.”
Ayisat had a fulfilled playing career with 68 caps as she played at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in China 2007, won three gold medals from the African Championships and All-African Games (2003, 2004, 2007), participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympics,
FIFA U-19 World Cup in Thailand 2004 and Canada 2002.
Ayisat, UEFA B coaching license holder is a passionate advocate for women’s football and equality. She has been a board member of the UEFA FARE Network (Fight Against Racism in Europe) since 2015. In 2018, she founded the SheFootball Initiative, an organization that empowers female footballers in Africa, and in 2024, the Ayisat Yusuf Football Academy in Lagos, Nigeria.
