Kosofe LG Chairman Donates Eight Transformer To Communities

Celebrating three years in office, Mr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, distributed transformers across eight communities within the council area, ameliorating power issues and stimulating economic activities and overall well-being.

During his address, Ogunlewe highlighted his administration’s accomplishments, including the recent commissioning of seven roads and the promise of three more roads being commissioned shortly.

Continuing with the list of proposed projects, Mr. Moyosore Ogunlewe disclosed that his administration planned to construct eleven additional roads, one of which was currently under construction in Roju and expected to be completed in September.

Furthermore, he promised to upgrade roads in Onabanjo, Alabi Owoyemi in Baba Oloworo street, and other areas within Kosofe Local Government. These projects are aimed at enhancing the overall infrastructure and connectivity of the council area, providing residents with better transportation and commuting options.

In his address, Mr. Moyosore Ogunlewe announced the locations of the newly distributed transformers, which were allocated to Millennium Estate in Gbagada, Shosanya Estate, Bakare Bello Market, Harmony Estate, Ibrahim Onasokun, Oluwaseun in Oworoshoki, Odufa CDA in Oworoshoki, Oruba CDA in Ogudu, and other areas.

This initiative is intended to address power supply issues and stimulate economic growth, education, and overall quality of life in these communities by providing them with a more reliable and consistent source of electricity.

Ogunlewe thanked Mr. Sanni Okanlawon and community leaders for their support, saying, “This project is a testament to what we can achieve when we work together.” He promised to continue working for the community, saying, “By God’s grace, I will do more for my community. We will do our best, not only for my party but also for the state.”
