The chairman of Apapa Iganmu LCDA, Dr Funmilayo Akande has given reasons for the linkup of roads in the community.
Akande has earlier instructed the project manager and contractor to extend the ongoing construction going on in Akorede road to Layeni street to link-up both Giwa and Akorede streets together.
The council boss said the reasons for the link up of the road is to ease vehicular movements in the community and it will enable motorists the flexibility to move freely.
The project engineer assured the chairman of giving in their best and completing the road projects simultaneously with the ongoing constructing going on in Akorede streets. The residence of the link-up road and Oriyepe, also appreciated the council boss for being considerate and for her ability to link-up the two roads together.
The contractor assured the chairman that the road will be be due for road users before the end of the year.
