APC candidates promise good representation

The House of Representatives and Lagos House of Assembly candidates under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I, Dr. Bashiru Dawodu and Otunba Stephen Ogundipe have promised to bank on their experiences, knowledge and abilities to provide better representation for their constituency if elected.
They gave the promise at the 2023 Political Stakeholders’ Summit for candidates organised by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Directorate of Politics and Governance.
According to the organiser, the summit is to give the candidates an atmosphere to engage with the people and state their plans.
Dawodu expressed his passion and love for the community while stressing that it is time to pay back to the community that has given much to him.
He listed his achievements in his first term in office while enlightening the constituents on why he is contesting for second term, saying it is not for his advantage but for the benefit of the community.
He disclosed some of the areas where his focus would be immediately he is elected for the second term.
He stressed that his good legacies on education will continue as well as bringing jobs opportunities and skill acquisition for the youths.
He also promised to work hand in hand with other legislators to ensure that Lagos State gets a special status from the federal government through effective legislation.
On his part, Ogundipe enumerated his plans and proposed programmed when elected as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
He promised to come up with a bill that would make it possible for the Lagos State government to give stipends to the elderly citizens that have spent their years in Lagos and have contributed to the growth of the state.
The duo urged every residents to come out and vote for the APC candidates.
