Nigeria Olympics Eagles star defender, Michael Inainfe was outstanding at the defense line for Nigeria as they defeated Tanzania at the Lekan Salami stadium, Ibadan to book a place in the final U23 AFCON qualifiers.
Michael Inainfe was discovered by Mr Abiodun Lawal the CEO of Utility Sports FC of Lagos on the 15th of February 2017 in Lagos.
Since then, Michael Inainfe has grown to become of the best defenders that Nigeria has ever produced as he has gone to grace big occasions in the world of football.
Mr Abiodun Lawal says, “When I saw Michael for the first time, I saw glimpses of the abundance of talents in him even without touching the ball. He’s full of confidence then and even till date. He’s an hardworker who sometimes I drilled him two times daily to make sure he was ready for professional football .
“Michael Ologo Inainfe of Istabulspor of turkey super league side is a utility player that can play from different positions on the pitch .
“He has a lot of qualities and a good ball playing central defender, a modern day type of a defender with great presence in the heart of the defense line, He is calm, calculative and he justified his inclusion into the U23 Eagles on both legt of the qualifier played recently.
“Michael Ologo Inainfe is from a footballing family where most of his siblings that are boy’s are still active footballers.
“I see Michael as a future Super Eagles center back and by the grace of God, it will happen.
“I give God the glory seeing one of my product representing the country and I am hoping and praying for more of this in years to come.
“Many other players in the Utility sports fc watched the game of their star player on Saturday and are looking forward to donning the national colors soon.
