A councillorship aspirant contesting under the umbrella of Young Progressive Party (YPP) in Afariogun ward D3, Mr. Adekunle Somorin, has promised to initiate bye laws to ease traffic.
Somori said he would do the unusual by providing the community with transportation that will ease current challenges..
According to him, there are plans and strategies already in place to achieve his objectives if elected.
“For the people residing in the community, I planned to ease their transportation, I believe it is possible by soliciting fund to embark on the project to bring new innovation into the system.”
Somorin also plans to support students from primary to tertiary level, canvass for the establishment of Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in Afariogun ward and facilitate road reconstruction.
Urging the voters to give youths a chance, Somorin said the youths can turn things around if given the chance to occupy leadership positions.
He, however, appreciated his party (YPP) for giving him and other youths a platform to contest for political posts, to be involved in politics, to get themselves developed and to do away with hooliganism.
He said he is optimistic that the youth will eradicate hooliganism, injustice, oppression, corruption and godfatherism if given the chance by other parties.
